Is there already a rapper named Semi-Precious? If there isn't, there should be. But it shouldn't be me, because I don't rap. It's an art form that shouldn't be besmirched by my having a crack at it.

How about this:
One time, I tried to come up with my Spice Girl name. I was joined in this endeavor by my sister Annie and her friends, Amanda and Ricardo.
OR
One time my sister Annie and her friends, Amanda and Ricardo, tried to come up with their Spice Girl names. Guess who else was there? Why yes, it was I.
That's a tough one.
I'd leave it out. It is not important to the story.
Or: Once, me, my sister Annie and some friends, gave ourselves Spice Girl names.
