How do you mend a hole in polyester?
It's a little hole.
Like, end-of-pinky-sized.
The fabric where the little hole is, is black.
Should I just forget about it and count my blessings, or what?

You could iron on a patch on the back of the fabric. I've never tried it, but I often think about trying it. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
